Which miners have actual BTCB2 compatibility evidence? The answer is narrower than “every BLAKE2b miner.” As of September 8, 2026, public project or pool pages name six exact models: iBeLink BM-S3+, iBeLink BM-S3, Goldshell SC Lite, Goldshell SC5 Pro, Goldshell SC-BOX and Goldshell HS5 in Sia mode. Several newer or similarly named models remain unconfirmed.

This guide separates the listed models from look-alike models, shows the nominal Sia-mode specifications used for facility planning, and explains what must be tested before a purchase or farm-wide switch.

The six models with public project or pool references

Exact modelNominal Sia-mode specificationPublic BTCB2 evidenceImportant limit
iBeLink BM-S3+25 TH/s, 3400 W, 136 J/THAlphaPool explicitly lists BM-S3+ Sia firmware and port 7777The listing is pool evidence, not a LeedMiner physical test
iBeLink BM-S319 TH/s, 3100 W, 163.16 J/THB2Pool hardware page names BM-S3B2Pool’s grouped 4.4 TH/s figure conflicts with the 19 TH/s store specification; verify the exact row and firmware
Goldshell SC Lite4.4 TH/s, 950 W, 215.91 J/THThe project’s miner guide names SC LiteThis does not prove SC-BOX, SC5 Pro II or every Goldshell SC model
Goldshell SC5 Pro11 TH/s, 2820 W, about 256 J/THThe project miner guide names SC5 ProThe entry does not automatically cover SC5 Pro II
Goldshell SC-BOX0.9 TH/s, 200 W, about 0.22 J/GHAlphaPool names SC-BOXSC-BOX II is a different model and remains a separate check
Goldshell HS52.7 TH/s, 2650 W in Sia modeAlphaPool names HS5 in Sia modeHandshake mode is not BTCB2-compatible work

These ratings are hardware planning figures, not measured BTCB2 production. Pool/project-listed means that a public source names the exact model. It does not mean the manufacturer endorses the fork, the current firmware will connect without changes, or a completed payout has been reproduced by LeedMiner.

Models that still require separate verification

Do not extend the six entries to a newer suffix or a similar chassis. The following models were not included in the cited exact-model evidence and should remain marked “verification required”:

  • Goldshell SC5 Pro II
  • Goldshell SC6 SE
  • Goldshell SC-BOX II
  • iBeLink BM-S1 Max and BM-S1
  • Goldshell HS6 and HS6 SE
  • Goldshell HS Lite
  • Goldshell HS-BOX and HS-BOX II

A specification that says BLAKE2b or Siacoin is not enough. BTCB2 uses its own header-v2 work and gateway or pool path. The controller must accept that work, the pool must validate the returned shares, and the payout must reach a wallet on the fork network.

How to read the BM-S3 data conflict

The iBeLink BM-S3 example shows why model-level verification matters. The referenced store specification is 19 TH/s at 3100 W. B2Pool names BM-S3, but its grouped display includes a 4.4 TH/s figure that matches a different class of Sia miner rather than the BM-S3 specification. Do not use the 4.4 TH/s value to calculate a BM-S3 purchase.

Ask the pool which exact firmware, work mode and controller revision its row describes. Then run one device and compare local average hashrate with pool-side effective hashrate. If the pool records a materially different rate, stop and resolve the model or display mapping before estimating output.

HS5 must be tested in Sia mode

Goldshell HS5 is a multi-algorithm unit. Its product name may mention Handshake and Siacoin, but BTCB2 compatibility evidence refers to Sia-mode BLAKE2b work. A Handshake-mode hashrate cannot be inserted into a BTCB2 calculation. Record the selected mode, Sia-mode rate, wall power and firmware before connecting.

The same principle applies to any multi-mode hardware: compare the algorithm and mode actually active on the controller, not the largest number printed on a combined product page.

Five tests before buying any listed model

  1. Exact identity: confirm model suffix, controller revision, condition and serial range. SC5 Pro is not SC5 Pro II; SC-BOX is not SC-BOX II.
  2. Live pool support: reopen the project or pool page and verify its current server, port, worker syntax and supported firmware.
  3. Accepted shares: request or perform a dated test showing accepted and rejected shares over a meaningful window.
  4. Credited balance: confirm the pool assigns the shares to a visible BTCB2 balance under the correct worker.
  5. Completed payout: withdraw a small amount to a dedicated BLAKE2b wallet and verify the transaction on the correct explorer.

A connection screenshot proves only that the controller reached a server. A local hashrate screen does not prove the pool accepts the work. A credited pool balance still does not prove the receiving exchange supports that network.

Power and cooling requirements from the listed specifications

The BM-S3+ and BM-S3 are industrial loads above 3 kW. SC5 Pro is also an industrial air-cooled unit. SC Lite and SC-BOX use less power, but they still need stable voltage, a grounded circuit and a controlled hot-air path. Confirm connector, circuit headroom, conductor size and protection with a qualified electrician.

Use the nominal wattage to design the circuit, then measure actual wall power during the BTCB2 test. Record inlet temperature, outlet temperature, fan speed, noise, rejected shares and restarts. A miner that hashes locally but throttles or disconnects under the site’s hottest condition is not an accepted production configuration.

Estimated output and revenue for all six models today

The September 8, 2026, 03:28 PDT snapshot used difficulty 1,141,943,013.52, a 3.125 BTCB2 reward and the 252.28 USDT best bid on NonKYC. Each row assumes 95% uptime, a 3% pool fee and electricity at $0.07/kWh.

ModelBTCB2/dayValue/dayPower cost/dayModeled net/day
BM-S3+ 25 TH/s, 3400 W1.2682$319.95$5.71$314.23
BM-S3 19 TH/s, 3100 W0.9638$243.16$5.21$237.95
SC5 Pro 11 TH/s, 2820 W0.5580$140.78$4.74$136.04
SC Lite 4.4 TH/s, 950 W0.2232$56.31$1.60$54.71
SC-BOX 0.9 TH/s, 200 W0.0457$11.52$0.34$11.18
HS5 2.7 TH/s, 2650 W0.1370$34.55$4.45$30.10

The BM-S3 row uses its 19 TH/s specification, not B2Pool’s conflicting grouped figure. These outputs are theoretical averages before cooling, rejects, slippage and trading fees. BTCB2/USDT had fallen 55.77% in 24 hours, and NonKYC reported deposits and withdrawals disabled because its wallet was stuck. Treat the displayed dollar values as a volatile mark, not currently guaranteed cash income.

The in-stock product below is useful for comparing an industrial BLAKE2b power and cooling profile. It is not one of the six source-listed BTCB2 models, so its exact firmware and pool support must be tested separately.

Bottom line

The clearest currently documented candidates are the exact six models in the table. The evidence does not extend to every BLAKE2b machine or newer suffix. Before purchasing, tie one exact model to one firmware, one live pool endpoint, accepted shares, a credited balance and a completed payout.

For availability, electrical planning or hosting, send LeedMiner the exact model name and the pool page you plan to use.
